DANO Lake District – Integritetspolicy

The DANO Lake District app has been developed to make your paddling experience easier, safer, and more accessible. In the app, we have gathered important information for visitors who want to explore the area from the water. You can easily find DANO campsites within the Dalsland Nordmarken lake system, see which campsite is closest to you, and access information that is important to know before and during your trip. The app also allows you to quickly report problems or feedback directly to us, for example if something needs attention or repair.

Exact Location Information (GPS)

DANO collects and uses the user’s exact geographic position (“precise location”).

  • enable help or assistance to be sent to the user by sharing the exact position when needed
  • display the user’s position in the app’s map and navigation features
  • enable location-based functions related to the Dalsland Nordmarken lake system

Location data may be collected:

  • when the app is actively in use (foreground)
  • also in the background, to ensure that assistance and location-related features continue to function even when the app is not open
